Ozaukee Economic Development is accepting nominations for their Ozaukee County Business of the Year Awards. This program highlights growing area businesses. It focuses on the areas of:
Business Improvement
Employment Growth, Expansion, and Profit Growth
Community Support
Participation in Community Events, Support of Local Civic Organizations, and Support of Charitable Non-Profit Organizations
Businesses may self-nominate or may be nominated by an outside party. The awards will be presented at the OED Fall Business of the Year and Economic Forecast Breakfast on Thursday, September 29 at the Ozaukee Pavillion at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds.
Applications are available HERE and are due on or before May 20, 2022. Applications will be reviewed by OED’s Business Recognition Committee.

The 2021 Business of the Year Award winners were Kyote’s Bar & Grill in Belgium in the Small Business category, Missing Links Golf Course & Driving Range in Mequon in the Medium Business category, and Guy & O’Neil in Fredonia in the Large Business category. All of these fantastic businesses were recognized for not only operating their business through one of the most difficult economic periods in history but also for the many contributions they made in giving back to the local community.
